South Ashford United Reformed / Methodist Church meet at the junction of Cade Road and Kingsnorth Road. Their present building was built at the same time as the church at Kennington, but on a plot of land that had been purchased years before - a testimony to the faith of the South Ashford Christians.

The previous building can still be seen, though it is quite small and inconspicuous, standing shoulder to shoulder with the houses and shops where Beaver Lane, meets Beaver Road, a few doors down from the present church - the part of South Ashford known locally as Beaver.

For the fellowship at Beaver, the time of rebuilding was also a time of uniting. The members of the Methodist Chapel at Denmark Road (Originally built in 1868 by the Bible Christians) united with the Congregational church. There was service of dedication which combined Church Opening and "Covenanting Together" held in the new building on 16th of September 1972.
